This was the $9 bird/butterfly cage I bought on Ebay before...
This is our birdcage "cardbox" after a bottle of $3 gold spraypaint. I attached a purple ribbon and made a little sign using leftover cardstock from our invitation kits. Not bad, eh?

Awesome! I actually saw a birdcage out for the garbage a week or so ago. I thought about bringing it home, cleaning it & doing the same thing, but then I gagged at the idea of cleaning out strange bird poop. LOL
That's sooooo pretty! And only $9? You are so good at finding steals!
